I believe after analyzing the ideas and content of the films there is a common theme that when showing light there is an idea of energy connected to this. The idea of energy combined with the movement of animation creates the idea of life. Talking about energy is quite spiritual by nature but combining something which is completely man-made contrasts really well and creates something which is absorbing.
