Presentation
A celebration of technology, utilising
software’s at our disposal, creating beautiful artwork through projection
mapping. A hand sculpted urban cityscape created with cardboard, painted white
to absorb the most amount of colour to show the projection to its greatest
form. Taking visual aesthetic from cyberpunk photography. Using After Effects
to create animated compositions which will enforce the idea that technology is
a help rather than a hinder.
I plan to project an
animation created by myself onto a sculpture made of card, to show a
celebration of the connection that we have with technology in society. The
sculpture will sit on a plinth with a reflective surface on top, the sculpture
will sit on top. In front of the sculpture a projector attached to a tripod
will sit parallel to the sculpture at a rough distance of 1-2 feet a part.

6. Centre line (refer back to picture just off the right)
7. Measure distance between projector and shard centre 1.49.1cm
(14.9cm is the difference for the platforms)
