SUMMER TASK

For my summer project I focused on the theme of choosing one day and getting the best images from it as I wanted to challenge myself to only 24 hours to spark my creativity as sometimes I feel that with my photography I consider the smallest thing so much that I liked to have that first hand rush of discomfort. I experimented with all of the different technical aspects of the photographs/photographers I looked at in Task 2. I looked into some macro photography and landscape photography. I chose the location of Portsmouth as I wanted new surroundings to stimulate my creativity even further.

First sunlight.

After looking at architecture photography I decided that I wanted to experiment with my own.

I chose to look at some of the interesting buildings in Portsmouth.

I also wanted to include some street style photography as this is something I enjoy doing myself.

From looking into macro photography, I wanted to explore this myself and challenged myself to one image in macro. I chose a shell as I found this on the beach and decided that this would be the perfect subject to summaries the day.

As we went back to the house after the day we discovered that the power was out. I snapped this image which is my favourite of the day as the composition and colours work together to create an also painted styled image.
