This sound piece utilises the concept of using musical instruments to create non musical sounding content. Unpredictable spurts of the instruments in an illogical order creates this unique atmosphere. It has similar musical blues sound. 

The Beatles - Revolution 9

I find this piece to be the most interesting. The reversed spoken word is eerie which is unsettling and high pitched sounds which cut the deeper sounding atmospheric background. Its constant random sounds keep you interested throughout. The panning of certain sounds really emurse you into the weird soundscape. I want to keep this piece in my mind while creating my own sound piece.

Burial: Untitled 

The story can be told through the sound, the subtle sounds creates a less abstract and more realistic atmospheric piece. 

Matmos - Spondee

The literal sounds turn into a piece of music. I like the literal nature of the piece but I still prefer the more abstract piece such as Revolution 9. 

Overall, I would like to combine the literal-ness of Spondee and the abstract style of Revolution 9 in my piece.
