Experimenting with visuals

I wanted to experiment with text within moving footage as this is something I haven't looked into before and thought that it would be effective in the documentary. I found a tutorial which explained masks on After Effects and started to figure out the flow of how to get the text to be revealed as the "consumer" walks past. 

This is my attempt of this revealing text effect. Overall, I think its effective, if the footage wasn't overexposed the text would have been more apparent however for a first try at this I am pleased.
